As a Mobile Automotive Mechanic in Sterling, VA, specializing in light and medium-duty fleet vehicles, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety, satisfaction, and excellence of our fleet maintenance services.

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday!

Pay: $33/hr - $40/hr (depending on experience)

Shift: Monday- Friday 7:00 PM- 3:30 AM

What the Automotive Mechanic role looks like:

· Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer

· Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to light and medium-duty vehicles

· Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare the safety documentation required

· Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures

· Inspect and perform work on the underparts of vehicles

· Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance

· Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on vehicles

· Maintain general upkeep and maintenance of the mobile Service Truck

· Respond to off-site client requests as needed

· Interact with clients through both email and phone as necessary

· Perform other duties as required

What our ideal candidate looks like:

· At least 3 years’ experience performing vehicle maintenance, or must have ASE 609, Strong Light-Duty and Medium-Duty Vehicle PM, Repairs, DOT Inspections, and Diagnostic / Electrical Skills.

· Must have a valid Driver’s License

· CMV operation above 10K requiring medical certification

· Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, Fleet Management Systems, and Email

· Ability to work without direct supervision

· Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers,

· supervisors, etc.)

· Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
• Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
• Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
• Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
• Ability to move and position heavy objects
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
