Commercial HVAC Service Technician

• Understanding of commercial mechanical codes and the ability to apply this knowledge in the field.
  
• Strong diagnostic skills to determine the problem with HVAC systems and devices.
  
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical details to non-technical customers, team members, and stakeholders.
  
• Physical abilities that allow for the lifting of heavy equipment, reaching high areas, and performing tasks in confined spaces.
  
• Customer service skills to build relationships with clients, schedule appointments, follow up on services, and handle any complaints or issues.
  
• Attention to detail to ensure all parts of the HVAC systems are properly installed, serviced, and functioning.
  
• Time management and organization skills to complete tasks on schedule, coordinate with team members, and prioritize work orders.
  
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics to understand the layout and functionality of the HVAC systems.
  
• Problem-solving skills to quickly identify and rectify faults, malfunctions or performance issues in HVAC systems.
  

Requirements

• Experience with troubleshooting HVAC systems, including air handling units, controls, chillers and boiler
  
• EPA Certification
  
• At least 5 years of experience with HVAC systems in a COMMERCIAL SETTING
  
• Must be able to pass a drug and background screening
