Pay Range: $28.00/hr to $38.00/hr depending on experience

Job Duties:

• Reviewing building plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand the layout of plumbing systems and ensure accurate installation.
• Communicate with customers in a positive and professional manner
• Work with outside vendors to purchase material and equipment
• Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements and applicable codes
• Able to work well with others
• Strong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to provide professional customer interaction
• Install plumbing systems on new construction and rehab properties
• Work with our office staff to obtain permits for plumbing work to be performed
• Adhere to current rules and regulations related to plumbing so that systems pass inspection the first time
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
• Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, and ceiling work as required.
• Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Ability to determine and identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects.

Requirements:

• Journeyman Plumbing license required
• 3+ years of residential plumbing experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving history
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work in all types of weather
• Ability to use tools of the trades, including but not limited to plumbing snakes, augers, drills, saws, hammers, measuring tape, levels, and screwdrivers
• Ability to train and lead plumbing apprentices and helpers
• Ability to communicate effectively to clients about issues and provide valuable solutions
• Available to work evenings and weekends as scheduled
• Able to move, carry, & lift to 100 pounds.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
• Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements
