Construction Supervisor I - Full-Time

Job Summary\:
Performs tasks as assigned by the In-House Construction Manager. Responsible for assigning, recording and supervising project assignments. Must control material/labor costs for projects. Responsible for assuring compliance with all applicable building codes and interim life safety codes.

Education:
Required\: High school diploma or equivalent, or trade school.

Experience:
Required\: Four years minimum experience as a construction supervisor with experience in carpentry constructions, drywall and plastering, painting and aesthetic trades.

Department Position Summary\:
Assigns, records, and supervises project assignments from start to completion for the Carpenter's, Lead Carpenter's and GSA's. Selects, orders, and controls material/labor costs for projects. Assesses job requirements and conditions to effectively utilize staff and maintain workload requirements. Installs acoustical ceiling tile, vinyl composition tile, sheet vinyl, carpet, new walls, installs drywall, plastering, painting, vinyl wall covering, door frames, doors and hardware, office furniture systems, rubber cove base, concrete forming and placement, installs professionally plumb level square in accordance with construction standards. Assists all departments in moving and every day maintenance of the facility. Maintains a neat and professional appearance.
