Essential Job Duties:
1. Proficiently use the required equipment and tools for Diesel Engine Prep, Inspection, and Disassembly.
2. Recognize acceptable and defective parts and complete the process as appropriate.
3. Abide by the Company Policies such as attendance, safety, processes, teamwork, training, etc.
4. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Experience: Must have hands-on Diesel Engine experience.
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have a basic understanding of the function of each part of a vehicle. Must use hand tools, air tools, and torches.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently. Subject to intense physical labor and repetitive lifting. Must be able to lift at least 75lbs. Must be able to work outside in various types of weather. Works with hydraulic oils, motor oils, antifreeze, and diesel fuels.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, as well as an office environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels and occasional inclement driving conditions.
