Auto Mechanic
We are seeking experienced Diesel Truck Mechanics to repair our fleet of heavy-duty diesel trucks in our Pineville, NC repair facility. The successful Diesel Technician will have previous experience repairing class 8 diesel trucks.

What We're Looking For
- Must have strong diagnostic troubleshooting skills.
- Previous supervisory experience
- 3-5 years of experience repairing semi trucks or vac trucks
- Must have your own tools
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge and experience working with hydraulic and electrical systems
- Should be flexible to do some traveling
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 5-7 diesel technicians performing maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks.
- Order parts and manage shop inventory
- Oversee repairs to ensure quality and that they are completed in a timely manner.
- Diagnose
and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on heavy-duty
vehicles.
- Perform
PM services on medium/heavy-duty vehicles
- Perform
DOT annual inspections on heavy-duty vehicles
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines,
transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components of commercial
vehicles and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil
changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify any
issues or potential problems.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to
troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to
ensure a safe working environment.
- Document all maintenance and repair work
accurately and thoroughly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and
management regarding the status of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all
times.
Compensation:
$33 - $40/hr.

Shift:
Day shift, Monday - Friday. Lots of OT available, overtime paid after 40 hours.
All successful mechanics will be subjected to a pre-employment check which includes a criminal record check, drug screen, and MVR check.
