Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for an Electrician Maintenance supporting Tinker Air Force Base located in Oklahoma City, OK. The Electrician Maintenance performs a variety of electrical trade functions, such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the production, distribution, or utilization of electrical energy. Skilled and proficient in the usage of thermography equipment, motor circuit analysis equipment and electrical measurement logging equipment (electronic chart recorder). Keeps supervisor apprised of unique situations and problems encountered and identify and reports safety, environmental and other work requirements for resolution.
- Inspections and assessments of electrical gear, breaker panels, transformers, motor control centers, motors and other similar electrical equipment, reporting those conditions to the supervisor and performing the electrical repair work requests issued by the supervisor.
- Utilize thermography imaging to investigate and identify facility and RPIE electrical hot spots, identify electrical distribution problems.
- May be required to utilize both off-line and on-line motor analysis tools to test and provide reports on motors. Correct electrical problems identified.
- Performs diagnoses and inspection of malfunctioning systems, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Installs or repairs any of a variety of electrical equipment such as, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, and other distribution equipment.
- Works standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
- Utilizes and interprets technical manuals, shop directives, blueprints, sketches, diagrams, and specifications, verbal and written instructions.
- Responsible for completing daily work order log documenting inspections, maintenance and repair information, to include work performed, materials used and hours worked on each assigned work order.
- Interfaces with customers and responsible for customer feedback, as applicable.
- Adheres to proper security practices, foreign object damage procedures and airfield driving regulations, as applicable.
- Operates motor vehicles in accordance with company vehicle policies.
- Complies with applicable federal, state, United States Air Force (USAF) and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) environmental laws and regulations
