At Country Manor, we're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to bring blueprints to life and support key electrical and structural projects throughout our facility. In this hands-on role, you'll construct frameworks, install fixtures, and help maintain the integrity and functionality of our buildings - creating safe, comfortable spaces for those we serve. From framing walls to fitting windows and molding, your craftsmanship will have a lasting impact.
As an Electrician - Remodeler you will:
Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials
Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace as assigned
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, flooring, trim, and hardware according to specifications
Pay close attention to detail in all assigned tasks
Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws
Follow established safety rules and regulations, maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using appropriate tools
Advise management when continued operation of equipment may be hazardous
Maintain a current electrician's license or identification card in compliance with governmental regulations
Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client needs
Install structures and fixtures such as windows and molding
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials as needed
Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
Assist in erecting, leveling, and installing building framework
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structural elements
Maintain positive working relationships with other departments and complete requisitions according to department policy
Attend meetings as requested by Supervisor
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Needed:
Master Electrician License preferred
Experience in the construction industry preferred or an associate's degree in related field
Ability to communicate and promote a positive working relationship with management, employees, residents, and resident's family members, displaying a great deal of patience, tact, and consideration
Ability to conform and follow established company company policies and procedures
Detail oriented with the ability to make precise measurements
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently, as to problem solve and make decisions
Must be knowledgeable in the operation and repair of various electrical systems
Must have knowledge of equipment, tools, supplies and techniques
Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Must be skilled in oral and written communication
Must be able to work effectively with staff from all departments and entities
