Our client, a leading industrial plant, is seeking an experienced Journeyman or equivalent Mill Electrical Technician to join their maintenance team. As a Mill Electrical Technician Level II (MET - II), you will be responsible for providing essential electrical, electronic, and combustion -instrumentation maintenance across all areas of the mill, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This critical role reports directly to the Superintendent of Maintenance.

<\/span><\/span><\/p>Key Responsibilities<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/h3>- Provide comprehensive electrical, electronic, and combustion -instrumentation maintenance.
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Troubleshoot, repair, dismantle, assemble, and install diverse mill equipment, including controls, switches, valves, ovens, furnaces, and cranes.
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Strictly adhere to all lockout procedures and safety protocols.
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Complete a specialized training program to achieve proficiency as a Combustion -Instrumentation Technician, Electronic Repairman, and Maintenance Electrician.<\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>- 5+ years of experience as an electrician in heavy industry, manufacturing, or mining; experience working with machinery, overhead cranes, equipment operation or a closely related field preferred
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li><\/ul>- Must be able to obtain a valid Colorado driver's license and mobile equipment qualification <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Strong troubleshooting, repair and installation skills <\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Must be a self -starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision and manage your time when given multiple tasks<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of personnel<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li>- Physical ability to climb, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, make repetitive motions, hear, etc. and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds<\/span><\/span>
