Salary: [$35 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM; Overtime and weekends as needed

Job Summary

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of ground support equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy equipment

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to reduce downtime

• Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to troubleshoot faults

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service logs

• Conduct field service repairs as needed

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Communicate with supervisors regarding status of repairs and parts needs

• Keep work area clean and organized

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a heavy equipment mechanic

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems

• Ability to read schematics, service manuals, and technical bulletins

• Valid driver's license

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various outdoor conditions

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding and fabrication skills

• Mobile field service experience

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and inspections
