Heavy Equipment Operator – Sanford Recycling & Transfer Station

📍 Location: Sanford, FL
💰 Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00/hour (DOE)
🕐 Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday + Occasional Saturdays | 45–55 hrs/week

What You’ll Do:

✅ Operate Excavators, Loaders, and Floater equipment to move, spread, and level waste on the tipping floor
✅ Keep the site running smooth and safe for truck unloading
✅ Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections like a pro
✅ Maintain a clean, organized work area
✅ Pitch in with site maintenance when needed

💪 What It Takes:

• Experience operating Excavators and Floater equipment (used for spreading and leveling waste)
• Skilled with loaders or similar heavy equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Team player with a strong work ethic
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
• Clean driving record preferred
