About the Role

Turner Staffing Group, in partnership with a leading mining company specializing in crushing operations, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who have hands-on experience with large-scale equipment in a mining or aggregate environment and who thrive in a team-oriented workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including:

  • CAT 980 and CAT 988 loaders

  • CAT 350 excavators

• Support crushing operations by moving, loading, and feeding material.

• Perform basic equipment maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs to ensure reliable operation.

• Adhere to all company safety policies, site regulations, and environmental standards.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating CAT 980/CAT 988 loaders and CAT 350 excavators in a mining or aggregate setting.

• Basic mechanical and maintenance skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and assist with minor repairs.

• Strong awareness of safety protocols and best practices in a mining environment.

• Reliable, with a team player attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
