WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

Role: Full-time HVAC Lead Install Technician

Location: Knoxville, TN

Pay: Earn an equivalent of $30 - $48/hour, with hourly pay plus commission

Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional on-call opportunities.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

As an HVAC Lead Install Technician, your work is a critical part of our commitment to our customers. You will start your day by dispatching to job sites from your home. Your core responsibility is repairing and maintaining residential and light commercial HVAC systems, which involves diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and identifying any maintenance risks. You'll clean, adjust, and repair systems, handle warranty services, and respond to emergency repairs with efficiency and skill. Throughout your work, you will provide customers with multiple options for long-term solutions, building trust and ensuring their systems run smoothly. This work is performed independently and requires you to operate a tablet, mobile phone, and other field equipment as needed while complying with all service standards and assisting with customer queries.

WHAT MATTERS MOST:

• 2+ years of experience working independently as a service technician
• 2+ years of hands-on HVAC diagnostic experience
• Valid driver's license
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
• Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints
• Driven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to be on-call periodically
• Ability to work in small and confined dark spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, etc.
• Ability to climb a ladder up to roof height
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75lbs
• Ability to occasionally shoulder and overhead lift up to 25lbs
• Ability to push/pull a wheeled cart up to 150 lbs.
• Experience in presenting options to customers is preferred
• A NATE certification is a plus
