Nardone Brothers Baking Company is a family owned, long standing pizza manufacturer in Hanover Township. We are currently looking for a Machine Mechanic to join our fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on various devices and fix mechanical issues. The primary responsibilities included, but are not limited to the following:
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
· Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
· Conduct preventive maintenance to various machines and devices.
· Detect malfunctions thorough observation (sound or visual).
· Run diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality.
· Repair broken or faulty machine parts.
· Assist production staff with machine changeover and adjustments as needed.
· Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components.
· Ability to perform emergency repairs, including structural, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
· Follow safety rules and regulations.
· Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Degree in engineering or manufacturing or equivalent experience.
· Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to operate lift trucks, platform lifts, and articulating boom lifts required.
· Ability to read and understand operating manuals, mechanical and electrical blueprints and drawings.
· Aptitude in using various hand and power tools (e.g. wrenches, pliers, hand drills) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers).
· Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems and their components.
· Basic knowledge of OSHA and Food Safety regulations preferred.
· Ability to stand for long hours, work in confined spaces, and lift heavy loads exceeding 50 lbs.
· Excellent verbal and written skills with strong observational and analytical skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
· Ability to work in a team setting.
