What You’ll Do

  • Maintain a safe, organized workspace and uphold our zero lost time injury goal by following all safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Perform detailed inspections, troubleshooting, and precision repairs on plant mechanical equipment, ensuring all work meets exacting standards.
  • Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.) to diagnose, align, and repair equipment to tight tolerances.
  • Accurately document all maintenance activities, including detailed measurements and corrective actions, to support equipment reliability and compliance.
  • Communicate clearly with other departments on job status, timelines, and resource needs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Safely perform equipment rigging and work at heights using scaffolding, man lifts, and ladders.
  • Conduct thorough safety and mechanical inspections before and after each task, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Respond promptly to emergency call-ins (nights, weekends, holidays), taking ownership of resolving issues and ensuring plant operations continue smoothly.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce repair frequency through proactive, precision-focused maintenance.
  • Embrace ongoing learning, including advanced diagnostic technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, and ultrasound.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, always with a focus on quality and safety.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong emphasis on precision work and mechanical aptitude.
  • Detailed documentation and record-keeping
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics for accurate assembly, disassembly, and preventive maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable work.
  • Self-motivation and a proactive approach, holding yourself to the highest standards.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), climbing, reaching, pushing, and pulling in challenging environments (exposure to dust, noise, heat, solvents, and lubricants).
  • Willingness to learn and apply new technologies in predictive maintenance and diagnostics.

Expertise in:

  • Millwright and machinist tasks
  • Industrial Maintenance (large pumps, crushers, belt conveyors, screw conveyors, fans, air compressors, boilers, motors, gearboxes, agitators).
  • Pipe fitting and welding/cutting
  • Precision measurement and alignment (calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges, dial indicators).
