Millwright

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Millwrights for projects located in and around Maryville, TN.  This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Millwright and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Install, align, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
• Dismantle machinery for repair or transport, then reassemble to specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Collaborate with other trades (welders, electricians, pipefitters, etc.) on projects.

Requirements:

• • Proven experience as a Millwright at the journeyman level.

  • Proficiency with precision tools (calipers, micrometers, laser alignment, etc.).

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.

  • Welding and fabrication experience is a strong asset.

  • Must be able to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and adapt to various environments.

• Minimum 3 years of industrial or mechanical millwright experience
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

• Must have own basic hand tools (additional tools may be project-specific)

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/work on your feet for extended periods

• Willingness to work overtime as needed

• Reliable, safety-minded, and a strong team player
