Description

MSD is looking for a Plumbing Foreman to join our team!

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plumbing Supervisor to lead and manage on-site operations for a variety of plumbing projects. In this role, you will coordinate and oversee all aspects of plumbing installations, removals, and repairs, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, and in full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will be responsible for supervising and mentoring a skilled team, providing training, and maintaining a focus on safety and quality at every step.

As a Plumbing Supervisor, you will work closely with internal and external personnel to establish job priorities, maintain effective communication, and manage materials to facilitate project completion. You'll also ensure apprentices receive proper training, handle documentation, and maintain necessary licensure and certifications. Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, and communicate effectively in both written and verbal English.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a journeyman plumber with active licensure and a valid US Driver’s license.
  • Completion of a state-sponsored apprenticeship program and high school diploma or GED required; additional college education is a plus.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and have the necessary tools to perform trade duties.

Key Job Duties:

  • Oversee and coordinate on-site plumbing operations, including assigning tasks, training, and mentoring team members.
  • Manage project schedules, priorities, and materials, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct inspections, ensure proper documentation, and provide continuous training to apprentices and personnel.
  • Promote safety practices and ensure team members work efficiently, maintaining required certifications and licenses.
