WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

To succeed as our Residential Sales and Service Electrician, you'll need to perform hands-on work and sell upgrades and replacements for customers' systems. That means you'll need to be outgoing, communicative, and highly solution-oriented.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in residential electric service
• Experience testing, troubleshooting, inspecting, installing, and maintaining electrical systems
• Ability to recommend upgrades and sell additional services
• Proven ability to work and solve problems independently
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Knowledge about blueprints, residential wiring systems, safety protocols, and electrical codes
• Mathematical abilities
• Willingness to pursue certifications and learn about new technologies
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call
• Ability to work in awkward positions, lift heavy objects, and perform other physical tasks

YOUR IMPACT

Our Residential Sales and Service Electrician typically works 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

This role goes beyond hands-on work, as you'll be servicing home electrical systems, troubleshooting and solving problems, and selling equipment upgrades and replacements to help customers get the most out of their systems. You can expect to:

• Engage with customers, clearly explain technical information, and recommend appropriate system replacements and upgrades
• Troubleshoot systems and complete accurate repairs, installations, maintenance, and testing
• Follow blueprints, technical drawings, electrical codes, safety protocols, and quality expectations
• Build trust in your expertise and create lasting relationships with customers
