The Truck Driver reports to the operator/yard crew-leader or Job Foreman to receive daily instructions. The Truck Driver can expect to fill any Truck Drivers position (Support Truck, Tanker Truck, Low Boy, box truck or any truck for which they are qualified). He/she may also be assigned to any other duties that would support the crew and that he/she may be qualified to perform.

Education Qualifications

Experience Qualifications
- Prior experience in heavy highway construction

Licenses and Certifications
- Class B CDL is required (class A is preferred)
- Tanker and Hazmat preferred
- Valid driver's license is required
Working Conditions/Physical Demands
- Continuous exposure to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites, including heights, moving vehicles, stopped traffic
- Continuous exposure to truck cabs, including computer controls, dials, handles, knobs, switches
- Regular exposure to noise, including horns, mechanical equipment, heavy equipment, jackhammers
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes and airborne particles
- Climbs in and out of equipment
- Sits and drives truck for 8-12 hours per day
- Uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue;
- Uses good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination, with the ability
- to quickly move arms and legs, to operate controls
- Possess excellent stamina to work between 8-12 hours per day
- Uses sight and sound to visualize work area and control panels
