About the Role


Basic Purpose:

Currently the position involves handling all coolants and oils for all machines, operating forklifts, as well as the performance of any other maintenance

utility duties as requested.

Shift: 1st

Pay: $18.00

TOP ACTUAL TASKS:

  • Carry out all waste products from the department and dispose of properly (coolants, chips, pallets, cleaners)
  • Refill machines and coolant systems with appropriate coolants.
  • Maintain and service all coolant filters and media rolls in the department. 
  • Complete all paper work correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Read and understand supporting documentation for the work area, and properly use and maintain the equipment.
  • Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and driving record satisfactory to SEW-EURODRIVE or otherwise be able to transport yourself to and from various locations, including customer facilities, to engage in diverse business activities.
  • Maintain work area cleanliness as instructed.  
  • Perform other tasks as requested.

TOP SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be able to continuously meet the Company’s production requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with continuous interruptions.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Ability to use gauges and other measuring equipment to ensure quality work.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Must have some maintenance knowledge and industrial experience
  • Ability to distinguish between different types of filters and oils.
  • Must know all waste product removal policies and hazard communication standards.
  • Must be able to climb onto a fork truck and drive to various locations.
  • Must be able to climb a ladder when necessary.
  • Must be able to occasionally work in tight spaces.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
