essential duties and responsibilities:
1. Read and implement all drawings, bill of materials, and specifications for the complete setup and construction of SeaArk boats with supervision.
2. Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding with supervision.
3. lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together with supervision.
4. sets up equipment and material and welds, using arc, gas-shielded arc with supervision.
5. Perform all welding functions, i.e., heat distortion control, and holding tolerance levels with supervision.
6. Fabricate to MIL spec tolerances.
7. Perform other tasks and duties as required.

· EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE - High school or GED preferred. minimum of 1 year of experience in welding or demonstrated ability to perform all the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
· SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Language skills: ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures and drawings with supervision. ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from team members and department managers.
· Mathematical skills: ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as stated above under essential duties and responsibilities, with supervision.
· Reasoning ability: ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with supervision.
