 Our trucking division includes the following vehicles: 

  • Tractor-trailer Dump Trucks 
  • Roll-off Dumpster Trucks
  • Fuel & Lube Trucks
  • Tandem Dump Trucks
  • Lowboy Equipment Trailers
  • Tri-Axle Dump Trucks


The list of duties for a driver include:

  • Class A CDL with no restrictions 
  • Two years’ experience in construction driving and off-road driving
  • Maintenance, pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers including checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls.
  • Ability to secure loads according to standards.
  • Be familiar with DOT regulations regarding the safe operation and required DOT documentation required while driving truck.
  • Work safely at all times surrounded by unpredictable field conditions, continuously moving vehicles, equipment, and adverse weather conditions.
  • Responsibility for completing paperwork using electronic ticketing system and submitting in a timely manner.
  • Provide courteous, prompt, and complete services to customers.
  • Verify all shipping documentation against the load information provided by dispatch. Note in writing any overages, shortages or damage and seal intact when arriving at delivery.
  • Perform roadside inspections as required by the law, various administrative agency regulations and company policy.
  • Report highway and on-site safety hazards observed to the appropriate source.
  • Sweep or wash out trailers, keep tractor in clean condition.



All candidates must be able to pass the following: 

  • DOT Drug Screen (fee paid by Burns)
  • Background Screening
  • MVR Screening
  • DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse Query
