Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator with direct experience in structural demolition and wrecking. The ideal candidate will operate industry-standard demolition equipment while adhering to strict safety and compliance requirements. Some assignments may require travel, but others may be local.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain demolition equipment including:
    • Hydraulic excavators (high-reach and standard)
    • Material handlers
    • Skid steers
    • Grapples, shears, hammers, pulverizers
    • Dozers and loaders (specific to demolition scope)
  • Execute safe and efficient structural wrecking operations on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Perform daily inspections and light maintenance on equipment.
  • Follow engineered demolition plans and site supervisor instructions.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA requirements, EHG safety standards, and zero-tolerance substance use policies

 Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of heavy equipment operation in demolition.
  • Proficiency with structural wrecking techniques and demolition-specific attachments.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
  • Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
