- Minimum three years of heavy-duty truck/trailer mechanic experience
- Proficiency with Peterbilt (Cummins and Paccar) and Freightliner (Detroit) systems
- Knowledge of belly dump, end dump, acid tankers, and pneumatic trailer systems
- Welding experience preferred but not required
- Expertise in suspension repair (bearings, disc and air brake systems, springs, rockers, alignments, etc.)
- Work with our parts personal to manage parts, and tire inventory within software systems
- Familiarity with electrical systems (ABS, lighting, wiring, etc.)
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and a safety-first attitude
- Basic understanding of computer software systems to track parts, repair orders, and diagnostic systems
- Must provide own tools; some specialty tools provided by the company on a service truck
- Maintain a clean work environment following company, OSHA, and MSHA standards
- Ability to perform all types of PM and inspections, service work, tires, and road calls
- Must have valid DOT Physical
