About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Project Engineer to support the project management team on large-scale dry utility projects. This role sits just under an Assistant Project Manager and offers a strong foundation for growth into future leadership opportunities.
This is not a design position. You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day execution of projects, working closely with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
What You’ll Do
Assist project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking
Review contracts, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
Prepare submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
Track materials, equipment, and progress in the field
Support quality control and safety initiatives
Provide problem-solving and technical support throughout the project lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred, not required)
1 or more years of experience in construction- specifically with underground utility projects
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office, or similar)
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work in fast-paced environments
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $60,000 – $80,000 (depending on experience)
