Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring Welders for projects located in Cedar Hill , TX. This is a first-shift opportunity with a pay range of $30–35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Maintain a strong safety record by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations

• Fit, weld, and assemble natural gas components per API 1104

• Utilize an oxygen-acetylene torch effectively and efficiently

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan and execute welding tasks
• Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications
• Use a weld positioner/turntable; majority of welds will be rolled out
• Inspect material for defects and verify material specifications for traceability
• Read a tape measure to the nearest 1/16 inch
• Work efficiently with common tools of the trade
• Meet quoted job times and contribute to overall team productivity

• SMAW initial welder qualification
• Welder training course
• Review SOP and WPS
• Welder must lay out, cut, fit, weld, and prep all specimens for testing
