JOB DESCRIPTION

 

                        

Position:          Welder

Facility:     Greeley, CO

Reports to:      Maintenance Supervisor

Date:         August 2025

 

 

Summary

Under supervision, operates welding equipment and assist with general maintenance needs.

 

  • Welds/repairs trailers, roll-off containers and lugger containers.
  • Repairs shredder, conveyors and other machinery as needed.
  • May include fabrication duties.
  • Assists the maintenance department with preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Operates hydraulic cranes and other equipment as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Safety:

Wears all necessary PPE when working in the yard.  Follows company safety standards at all times.  Failure to follow standards, may result in loss of position.

 

 

 

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED and technical degree are preferred but not required.  Prior stick and wire welding experience required.  Welding certification is a plus.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 30-50 lbs and 100+lbs on 2-person lift.
