Welding and Fabrication:
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments.
Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and handle metal shaping and cutting.
Inspection and Quality Control:
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards.
Conduct tests to determine weld quality and strength.
Repair or rework defective welds.
Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe work environment.
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of welding tools.
Collaboration:
Work with other fabricators, engineers, and project managers to meet production goals.
Communicate clearly about project status, issues, and solutions
Proven experience as a welder (2+ years preferred).
Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG, MIG, arc welding, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves, etc.).
Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
High school diploma or equivalent; professional certification (e.g., an AWS welding certificate) is a plus.
